iQo is proud to announce the arrival of Pierre-Louis BRENACas a partner in the StratOps division, to develop the company's support offering for the energy and utilities sectors.Energy and Utilities.
What is your career path?
After an enlightening internship in engineering at CERN in Geneva, I began my career in the UK with the Thales group, where I helped convert an RAF military airfield into a civilian airport and integrate new subsidiaries.
In 2001, I joined Sia Conseil, a small office in the 3rd arrondissement of Paris with a staff of 20. Immediately impassioned by the major reforms of the electricity and gas markets, we structured a sectoral offering for energy, and I gradually began to work for all the regulated and commercial players in the sector.
The team grew and internationalized, becoming Sia Partners, and I worked for energy companies in several European countries, before moving to Milan for 3 years. From 2014 onwards, I manage the Middle East office and advise operators in the region, which is in the midst of an energy transition towards more electricity and more renewables. These were also the beginnings of an awareness of cybersecurity issues and the potential of AI in the business.
Having returned to France before COVID-19, I advise incumbent players, challengers and new entrants to the energy market on their innovation and competitive positioning strategies, as well as defining and implementing the European Network Codes that prefigure the internal market models we talk so much about today.
Then, in early 2024, came the "iQo" click and the opportunity to join a dynamic, fast-growing team.
Why did you decide to join the iQo project?
I was impressed from the outset by the vision and personalities the personalities embodying iQo's leadershipleadership, I wanted to find out more.
I discovered a project that was both ambitious and benevolent, driven by values that really spoke to me: to be "impact" Consultants, advocating collective work and the hybridization of skills.
